Ficus & Fir Co. ("we") provides cleaning, packing, decluttering and home staging services in the Pittsburgh area. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
When you send a contact or quote request, we collect what you type into the form:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your message, and for quotes: the services you're interested in, whether the property is residential or commercial, your timeframe, and the property address or location
We also record the internet (IP) address the request came from, and the date and time. That is used to block automated spam submissions and for no other purpose.
We do not use advertising cookies, and this site does not currently load any analytics or tracking scripts.
Nothing you enter is sold or shared for marketing.
How we use it
Only to respond to you: to answer your question, prepare a quote, schedule work, and keep a record of the job. We may contact you by email, phone or text using the details you provide.
Who else is involved
The website runs on servers provided by myASP.NET, our hosting provider. Its database stores the requests you send, and its email service sends us a copy of each request, including the details you entered, so we can reply. Two other services are used to run the site:
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
- Cloudinary stores and delivers the photographs shown in our gallery.
These providers process data on our behalf. We don't give your details to anyone else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we may need them for the job and our business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
Email us at ficusandfir@gmail.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also ask us to stop contacting you.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging services, and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date above.
